Dale’s 2007 release, “Small Town van Gogh” features mostly solo acoustic performances based on country, folk and blues traditions. The album includes 9 original songs as well as a folk-flavoured take on Bruce Springsteen’s “My Hometown”. The title track, earned Dale a first place win in the International Narrative Song Competition.
Dale’s 2004 folk debut “In My Rearview Mirror” features stripped down solo voice and acoustic guitar arrangements of 10 original songs. Recorded live in the studio, the album features “The Wilbert Coffin Story”, which was featured in the documentary CBC ENJEUX’s film, Le Mystère Coffin.
Featuring Dale Boyle and Kevin Mark, the Kitchen Shakers 2009 debut, “Deep Fried and Countrified” reflects a mix of roots influences. The album features 3 traditional and 8 original songs, including Dale’s “Crack In The Pavement”, which placed in the "Blues" category finals of the International Songwriting Competition. www.KitchenShakers.com
